What makes me happy

The kids have this book called "What Makes Me Happy" it has pages like what makes me scared, or nervous, or bored, etc. So I thought I'd share some of what's been making me happy lately.

Reading:

(tongue involvement optional)

This Boy:

(who's begining to find the toddler within, complete with screaming and tantrums, but it's a pretty weak attempt and well, a little late.)

These two together:

Elissa runs into Alaina's class before they've finished, she's just so excited to see "Naina"
And Alaina complains about being followed around, but really, she's the best big sister. Here, she's comforting Elissa and explaining why Daddy won't let her touch the camera with her greasy fingers.

Chaos:

(because we might as well accept it)

Having a handyman in the house:

(and it's not Orvon)

"Choc-late":

Because since she learned to say it a week ago, she hasn't stopped.

She has also started saying "happy" just out of the blue, sitting in the back of the car or playing with her toys she'll just say "happy" I can only assume that's because she is, and there is nothing that can make me happier than knowing that.

  1. Nothing, except seeing these guys in person, could make me happier than "seeing" them through your eyes as I finally found time to take a break and check on your blog. I cannot believe how much they are growing! We simply have to find a way to visit soon, or they will be all grown up before we do. Thanks for keeping us "posted" on their progress.
